First Savers
Lambeth Savings & Credit Union believes in the advantages of encouraging young people to start saving regularly.We are therefore offering a special “First Saver” account, which can be opened by anyone up to the age of 16.
We are currently looking at ways of extending this service by working in partnership with local schools.
To open up an account for your child, simply complete a First Savers application form, and provide us with two forms of identification for both the child and the parent or guardian that will act as the account signatory. Please note that if the account holder is already a credit union member, you need only provide one form of ID for the child’s account, (such as a birth certficate or medical card).
