Becoming a member
Becoming a member of Lambeth Savings & Credit Union is straightforward. The easiest way to join is to fill in the membership enquiry form online, and we will send you a full application pack in the post. Or you are very welcome to call at our branch on Brixton Hill, where our friendly staff will be happy to help.
Joining requirements
As well as your application form, you will also need to bring two forms of identification with you, one proving your identity and one showing your current address.
Please download the “Verifying Your Identity” document, below, for more information. This explains why we are required by law to check the identification of new members, and what sorts of documents can be used.
If you find that you don’t have the documents listed, don’t worry! We have a new online ID verification system that we can use to help open your account. Simply mention this to one of our staff when you apply for membership.
There is also a one-off fee of £3 to join LSCU. Bring your application form, fee and proof of ID to the branch. Our staff will process your application and give you your member’s info pack. The information pack contains everything you need to know to make the most of the services you’re entitled to as a member of LSCU. You can start saving from day one!
